7TH GRADE BAND
The 7th Grade Band at Randy Hughes Middle School is led by Mrs. Tiffany Lopez. As the second year of the band program for students, this year builds on the foundational skills acquired in 6th grade, offering students the chance to deepen their musical knowledge and abilities.

Under Mrs. Lopez's guidance, 7th-grade students continue to develop their proficiency on their chosen instruments, learning more complex techniques and musical concepts. The curriculum includes a wide variety of musical styles, from classical to contemporary, allowing students to explore different genres and broaden their musical experiences.

Daily rehearsals are a central part of the 7th Grade Band experience. In these sessions, students work on refining their ensemble playing, focusing on aspects such as balance, blend, and dynamics. They also practice more challenging pieces of music, enhancing their skills and preparing for performances.

Throughout the school year, the 7th Grade Band has several opportunities to showcase their progress and talent. They perform at school concerts, community events, and other special occasions, sharing their music with a wider audience.

In the 7th Grade Band at Randy Hughes Middle School, students continue their musical journey with enthusiasm and dedication, gaining valuable skills and experiences that will benefit them throughout their lives. Under Mrs. Lopez's direction, they are encouraged to strive for excellence and develop a lasting appreciation for music.
